From ₹199 a month · No card required to sign up · Data hosted in India

Hosted in India

Database and documents in the Mumbai region.

Isolated in the database

Row-level security, not interface-level hiding.

No trackers

No advertising or third-party analytics scripts.

Everything a practice runs on

Not a generic project tool with accounting words pasted over it. Every module below exists because a CA firm needs it to close a month.

Compliance calendar

Record which registrations each client holds and Praxida generates every period's statutory task from the calendar — so a stalled filing never blocks the next period appearing.

Filing status grid

Every client against every period in one grid. See at a glance what is filed, what is pending and what is overdue across the whole practice.

Tasks with a review stage

Work moves through assigned, in progress, waiting on client, under review and completed. Partners can require review before anything is marked done.

Client portal

Each client sees only their own records, and only what you mark visible. They upload what you asked for and tick off a document checklist.

Documents with versions

Private storage, version history, and approval that resets when a document is replaced. Nothing is served without an authorisation check.

Billing and receivables

Rate cards, invoices with GST fields and SAC 9982, receipts recording TDS deducted under 194J, and an outstanding ledger per client and firm-wide.

DSC and UDIN registers

Track which digital signature certificate is where, who holds it and when it expires — and keep a UDIN register alongside ARNs for filings made.

Per-employee permissions

Decide what each person can see and do, down to individual capabilities. Permissions are resolved inside the database, so they hold on direct API calls too.

Automatic reminders

Email reminders before statutory deadlines and nudges on work that has been waiting on a client, without anyone maintaining a follow-up list.

Common questions

What is practice management software for a CA firm?

Practice management software gives a chartered accountancy firm one place to track every client, every statutory due date, and every task the team is working on — instead of spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and individual memory. Praxida covers client records, a compliance calendar that generates statutory tasks automatically, task assignment and review, document collection through a client portal, invoicing and receipts, and DSC and UDIN registers.

Where is our client data stored?

In India. The database and document storage run in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region. Every firm is isolated from every other firm by row-level security policies enforced inside the database itself, not merely hidden in the interface — so one firm cannot reach another firm’s records even through direct API calls.

How much does Praxida cost?

It is ₹199 a month for a sole practitioner, ₹499 for up to five users and ₹999 for up to ten, with unlimited clients on every plan and ₹99 a month for each additional user. Paying annually costs ten months rather than twelve. No GST is added — the price shown is the price you pay. New firms can ask us for a free evaluation period before committing, and no firm is ever charged without being told first.

Can our clients upload documents themselves?

Yes. Each client gets a portal login that shows only their own records and only the items you have marked visible to them. They can see what is pending, upload what you have asked for, and check off items on a document checklist.

Does Praxida file returns with the GST or Income Tax portal?

No, and this is deliberate. Praxida tracks what is due, who is doing it, what has been collected and what has been filed. Filing happens on the government portals as it does today. We do not ask for or store your clients’ portal credentials.

How does the statutory calendar work?

You record which registrations a client holds — GST, TDS, income tax and so on — and Praxida generates each period’s task from the calendar. Tasks are generated by period, not chained to the previous one being completed, so a filing that stalls in one month never stops the next month’s task from appearing.
